The Cultural Association "G.A.I.A." (Guide Arte Identità Ambiente) is based in Saluzzo and has been founded by a small group of passionate tourist guides that have been working in our wonderful area for years. Our aim is to offer a wide choice of (personalized) tours in order to discover our region. We are basically working on two "fronts": providing and accompanying guided tours all over the former Marquisate of Saluzzo, paying particular attention to the less known and hidden places, and organizing cultural events that focus on the promotion of our surroundings.

It is possibile to organize tours in the following foreign languages: French, English, German, Spanish and Cinese.

TOURIST GUIDES: We are a group of authorized tourist guides of the Turin and Cuneo area. Our association offers not only guided tours for groups, schools and single visitors, but also organizes events based on art, history and nature topics, presentations of new books, the promotion of concerts. We can count on precious cooperations with local realties such as the FAI (Italian National Trust), "Saluzzo Turistica", the city administration and of course other cultural associations.

 "ART...is a passion." (Oscar Wilde) And we love our surroundings and all its pecularities: history, culture, art, food. We appreciate the small chapel in one of the alpine valleys as much as some gothic masterpiece of the former capital of the ancient Marquisate of Saluzzo. One can find countless, breathtaking art pieces everywhere, sometimes hidden, sometimes forgotten. Come and discover them with us!

 IDENTITY: Our roots are our philosophy. That is the reason why we love to involve local people in our projects. Our desire is to give value to our identity, discovering our roots. We know how important it is to reach the young generations; therefore we organize school projects in order to nourish passion and curiosity among the youngest.

 ENVIRONMENT: Our surroundings are essential inspiration sources for us. That is why we love to propose walking tours through the near alpine valleys, discovering unique cultures and breathtaking nature, just a stone's throw from the Monviso which has recently been declared part of the UNESCO program "Man and Biosphere".
